Finder actions included with Mouse SR

Open in Terminal

Open the current Finder folder or a selected folder in Terminal without copying and pasting its path manually.

Create a TXT or Markdown file

Create an empty text or Markdown file in the current folder. If the default name already exists, Mouse SR chooses another name.

Copy a file or folder path

Copy the path of the current folder, a selected folder, or a selected file for use in Terminal, scripts, editors, or support messages.

How to enable the Finder extension

  1. Install Mouse SR on a Mac running macOS 15 or later.
  2. In Mouse SR, choose the option to open the macOS extension settings and turn on the Mouse SR Finder extension.
  3. Select the folders where Mouse SR is allowed to provide Finder actions.
  4. Right-click inside an allowed folder or on a selected item to use the available actions.

Privacy and folder access

Finder actions are performed locally. Mouse SR does not upload mouse input, file contents, file names, or file paths. The extension is limited to folders you explicitly allow and their subfolders.
