Saved-footage motion review

Find Motion in Saved Security-Camera Footage

MoFind scans video files you already have and builds a list of moments where the picture changes. Review timestamps and thumbnails instead of scrubbing through an entire CCTV or doorbell recording.

What MoFind helps you review

Long CCTV recordings

Scan a saved recording and use the motion-event list to jump to sections that may need review.

Door, garden, garage, or shop footage

Draw a detection region around the area that matters and reduce irrelevant changes elsewhere in the frame.

Local review of private video

Motion analysis runs on the selected iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Videos are not uploaded for scanning.

How to scan saved footage

  1. Import a saved security-camera, CCTV, or doorbell video into MoFind.
  2. Choose a time range, sensitivity, and the detection region that should be analyzed.
  3. Start the scan and wait for MoFind to create the motion-event list.
  4. Review event timestamps, durations, motion scores, and thumbnails, then preview or export the events you need.

Important limitations

MoFind is not a live camera viewer

MoFind analyzes saved video files. It does not connect to a camera feed or replace live monitoring and alert software.

Motion is a visual change, not an identity

An event indicates that the selected region changed. Review the footage to determine whether the cause was a person, vehicle, animal, weather, lighting, or another change.

Free and Pro limits

The free tier supports one video up to 30 minutes and one detection region. Pro adds longer videos, multi-video queues, multiple regions, and event-clip export.
