Motion event scan​

Scan security camera, doorbell camera, or trail camera footage and generate a list of motion events with start time, duration, motion score, and a frame thumbnail.

Event preview​

Review each event with its start time, duration, motion score, and frame thumbnail.

Supports iPhone, iPad, and Mac​

Use MoFind on iPhone, iPad, or Mac to scan saved videos and review motion events.

Video format support​

MoFind generally supports MP4, M4V, and MOV videos encoded with H.264 or H.265.

On macOS, MoFind can handle more common video formats with compatibility processing. On iOS and iPadOS, MoFind currently supports only formats the system can decode directly.

Detection region​

Draw a zone to focus analysis and reduce noise from irrelevant motion. The free tier supports one detection region; Pro unlocks multiple detection regions.

Motion detection sensitivity​

Choose low, medium, high, or a custom threshold.

Time range​

Scan only a specific portion of a video.

Output settings and annotated export​

Choose annotation settings such as bounding boxes, timecodes, and motion scores, then generate annotated videos.

Event clips​

Save detected events as separate videos. Exporting or sharing event clips requires Pro.

History​

Keep completed scans so you can revisit events later.

Free and Pro limits​

The free tier supports one video, up to 30 minutes, and one detection region. Pro unlocks longer videos, a multi-video queue, multiple detection regions, and event clip export.

Process on your device​

MoFind processes selected videos on your device. Videos are not uploaded.
