1. What is MoFind?
MoFind is an app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac that helps you review long videos faster. It scans footage on your device and lists motion events so you can review the moments where movement appears.
2. What features does MoFind offer?
- Motion event scan: Scan video and list motion events with timestamp, duration, and motion score.
- Event preview: Review event details and frame thumbnails.
- Detection region: Draw a zone to focus analysis on part of the frame.
- Sensitivity: Choose low, medium, high, or a custom threshold.
- Time range: Scan only a selected portion of a video.
- Annotated export: Export videos with motion boxes, timecodes, and motion scores.
- Event clips: Save detected events as separate videos. Exporting or sharing event clips requires Pro.
- History: Revisit completed scans later.

MoFind supports iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
4. What kinds of videos is MoFind useful for?
MoFind is designed for security camera, doorbell camera, and trail camera footage where long quiet sections make manual review slow.
5. What video formats does MoFind support?
MoFind generally supports MP4, M4V, and MOV videos encoded with H.264 or H.265. On macOS, it can handle more common video formats with compatibility processing. On iOS and iPadOS, it currently supports only formats the system can decode directly.
6. Does MoFind upload my videos?
No. MoFind processes videos on your device, and videos are not uploaded.
7. Can I choose which part of the video to scan?
Yes. You can set a time range and draw a detection region to focus the scan. The free tier supports one detection region, and Pro unlocks multiple detection regions.
8. What can I export?
You can generate annotated exports with motion boxes, timecodes, and motion scores. You can also save detected events as separate video clips; exporting or sharing event clips requires Pro.
9. What is included in the free tier?
The free tier supports one video, up to 30 minutes, and one detection region. Pro unlocks longer videos, a multi-video queue, multiple detection regions, and event clip export.
10. Is MoFind a live camera viewer?
No. MoFind analyzes saved video files. It does not connect to a camera feed and is not a remote camera viewer or live monitoring client.
